The walking old man

May 15, 2014

Early morning every day, me waiting at the street corner
Through the light sun, cool breeze and even fog or shower
Without fail, the old man, looking like a stick, tall yet frail
Walked alone pacing along round and round and round
While I went on counting till my school bus could turn up
One winter morning he was missing, never ever seen again.
