A White man’s burden in Norway

January 24, 2012

No words may console her soul, no hand to wipe out her wild tears
Sagarika left alone with her empty lap crying after her innocent kids
Snatched away by impudent Norwegians turning absurdly inhumane
Dumping trusting infants from a loving home to a strange alien foster
They used to ever earlier to naïve Red Indians and hapless Aborigines
Carrying on prejudiced shoulders a White man’s (unneeded) burden.
